TO AND FROM QUEENSTOWN AIRPORT TRANSPORT
Queenstown is a destination for adventure enthusiasts, but is home to vineyards and historic mining towns. So, when you fly in to Queenstown Airport, note that the city center is about 7 km away from the airport, and takes 20 minutes. However, to ease your commute, there are five options to travel to and from the airport. Each has a varying fare, but suits the requirements of every passenger.
Bus to airport
Public Bus
Orbus is the bus service in Queenstown and operates from 6 am to midnight, throughout the week. Get a GoCard, as a holder is charged $2. There is a one-off cost of $5 to buy a GoCard, but once you have it you’ll have ongoing access to the $2 fare.

There are three options for the taxi service—Green Cabs (eco-friendly and economical), Queenstown Taxis (any destination, no problem), and Corporate Cabs (high-end service).

Limousine: This service is ideal for VIP, guests, wedding groups, large groups, and corporate passengers.
